I honestly don’t care if one person decides to put chicken nuggets on a plate with Kool aide … I always looked past post like that and always enjoyed the originality and really good cooking by a lot of the posters in this board … Its the internet , someone will always troll a topic of thread. It literally happens in every topic on this website . Don’t take the hook , and hopefully more people will contribute their recipes and submissions.

I’m currently having a drink that includes citrus while my kids play in the rain in the backyard . It’s a canned Margarita, I’m not going to post pictures of how I made it , that would be dumb ….

Just let people have their fun and hopefully more will participate and enjoy it for what it is .

Tarte au Citron
(Lemon Custard Dessert

First timer entry, not as skilled at this as some.

Squeezed lemons, eggs, sugar, butter & salt. Mix and then heat until it thickens like a gravy. Pour into a par-baked crust made of almond flour, coconut, sugar, salt, butter, almond extract & an egg. Fancy up with blueberries. Serve chilled (no pic of the serving…brought it to MIL’s for Mother’s Day and forgot to take a pic)

ETA- why are pics so small? This is some bullshite!

Great post. I’m looking forward to seeing the desserts. That’s where my mind goes when I think of recipes with citrus fruit.

You must have shared the thumbnail link

Those glasses were a one off. I don’t even think the guy is doing those anymore. He did some LSU ones too.

Lime Chimichurri Grilled Chicken with Lemon Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

Started by making the Chimichurri

Then I marinated the chicken for about 30 min while I lit the grill.

While the chicken was grilling, I prepped the broccol.

Plated and ready to eat. Great fresh summer dinner.

Lemon Pepper Wet Wings

Lemon pepper is my favorite wing flavor but the dry seasoning leaves me wanting more lemon flavor.

So I make a lemon juice vinaigrette as a sauce for the wings - intense real lemon flavor instead of whatever is in the dry seasoning.

Make the vinaigrette with more acid in the ratio than a regular dressing. Closer to 2:1 oil:acid rather than 3:1.

Add pepper and Mexican Crema to help emulsify the dressing. I used sour cream on this batch because that's what I had on hand. I prefer MC though.

I use olive oil, but any oil works if you want a more neutral oil flavor.

Add black pepper and lemon zest to taste.

Toss or dip your wings and enjoy the serious tang if that's your thing.

Love the sauce idea with the crema. I’ll have to try that.

If MDS would have free based kool aid onto Manda sausage, 6&b probably would have upvoted his post instead of calling for an adult
