Is chimes walking distance from the box? We plan to Uber from hotel to box and maybe walk to chimes afterwards and Uber back to hotel. From what I remember it’ll be a hike

It’s a hike from the new box. Google maps says 33 minute walk.

I would walk it. Especially if the weather is nice this time of year plus it's a nice scenic walk through campus- well after you get off Nicholson.

That's a hike after a game. Hell, it's a hike either way

Walk it! Enjoy campus. If you Uber, you won’t be able to do that.

33 minutes but if you want to go past Tiger Stadium and take a right you see Mike’s cage, the Indian Mounds, can cut through the quad and see Clock Tower and parade grounds. Would be a nice walk with good weather.

We’re going to the game on Saturday which starts at 6 so it’ll be dark by the time the games over. So idk how scenic it’ll be.
I’m somewhat a fatty but I still run 3 miles a day so I think I could handle it.

Probably confusing Walk-one with The Chimes. That’s a long walk.

Oh please. Last thing I want to do after a game at 9pm is walk 40 minutes to Chimes. Walk to Walkons and get an uber imo. We also have no idea who the group is. If it's anything but a group of guys, we are ubering

ok, calling 1.5 miles a hike is still a bit sad.

BS. It is a hike when you’re talking about whether or not walking from a game to a restaurant with your wife.

All of us can do a 40 minute walk, I enjoyed the campus a couple of weeks ago, walking around for over an hour just to enjoy it. That’s not the point. The point is he’s walking to go dine at a restaurant.

I definitely don’t want to go to a game with my wife only to walk 40 minutes to a restaurant and I’m fully capable of walking 1.5 miles. Doesn’t mean I want to walk 1.5 miles and then sit down to dine.

We answered the OP’s question. It is 1.5 miles and will take 30-40 minutes to walk. But the walk through campus is nice. Whether he wants to walk it or not is up to him.

Definitely walkable but you might get robbed walking across campus after dark these days. I'd just get an uber

1.5 miles at 9:00 after sitting in a stadium for two and a half to three hours and then 1.5 miles back on a full stomach at probably 10:00 at night. Nah I'm good.

As others have said, it's a bit of a walk. LSU started putting those motorized scooters on campus, so maybe you could grab a couple of those an ride on them. Not sure what app they're through

We walk to Tiger Stadium all the time from the Chimes. The Box is not that much farther. And there is always Walkon's.

That is not a hike. That’s your daily minimum of walking.
