we stopped at a random mcdonalds on the way back from a trip one time and my kid complained his chicken sandwich was cold and my wife opened it up and the chicken wa completely raw in the middle
that pretty much cured us of mcdonalds chicken.
fast forward to a few years later my wife got sick and had eaten chikfila sandwich earlier that day and called to complain thinking that was it.
the lady said "impossible - our chicken is already pre-cooked and tested then flash frozen and shipped to the stores so there's no chance its ever undercooked."
my wife who generally has a comeback for everything was like "Well......ok"
Anyway, thats what a well-run food place looks like. Remove as many points of failure as possible for the minimum wage workers manning the front counter.

It was probably safe, due to not containing actual chicken.

I would have thought that they’re just heating up frozen pre-cooked chicken.

Maybe stop eating fast food so much if you have so many problems.
Can't even imagine how much you and your wife weigh.

Absolutely happened.

There’s a less than zero percent chance McDonald’s chicken is raw.
All you’ve proven is you have the brain of a McDonald’s employee not a CFA one

I had that happen to me at Gulf Shores Wendy’s in the mid early to mid 1990’s. Cooked around the edge but completely raw in the middle. Looked like chicken out of a pack from the grocery store.
Wendy’s absolutely used to cook from raw. No clue if they still do. Would seen nobody would do that these days.

the only thing not precooked at McDonald’s is the burger patty. All chicken items including the nuggets are precooked and frozen.
If you got a nasty chicken sandwich it’s because McDonald’s is nasty but it wasn’t raw

I have students that work at both restaurants. The only precooked chicken product at McDonald's is the nuggets. All patties are breaded, frozen raw and cooked to order.
Chick-fil-A cooks all chicken products from raw. The customer service person that gave you that answer just wanted to SYTFU.

Fish and their regular chicken sandwich is precooked, freezer to fryer
Their McCrispy, which was their premium offering, was not precooked
