I agree with you about the destressing. Cooking does that for me. It's a great distraction. I can forget just about anything bothering me when I cook.

Yes. We have no kids at home now (actually have grandkids). It's just the wife (May Her Name Be Praised Forever) and me so cooking has turned into a pleasurable thing, instead of a must get food on the table chore. Most nights I'd rather eat at home than out, because we do this sort of stuff all the time and I like our cooking as much as any restaurant. I guess that sounds bad, but we are both good cooks and work well together. Besides, at home I can have a glass of wine or two and not need to drive home afterwards.

A little too much cream for me but I would still frick that up. From an aesthetic standpoint it looks delicious and judging from the recipe and seeing the pics I bet you had a nice, rich depth of flavor. Bravo sir.

One thing .. which syrah did you go with? And any particular reason why you chose that wine?

You are the best FB poster, no doubt.

Looks good. I made chicken curry tonight. When the spices hit the oil and onions it really is an amazing smell.

I've made This One before to great affect. Yours sounds very similar except it uses the Garam Masala.

Wyndham Estates Australian 2010

It was open from the previous night and I like it. It seems has less tannins than Cabernet Sauvignon.

Yes I know a red with chicken?

I drink what I like most of the time. Seems to work just fine with me. No offense intended.

Nicely done, I've always used a pre-made sauce available from my local Indian/Paki grocery but may try to make it from scratch as you did.

That looks absolutely fantastic!!! Great pictures too! I make mine very similar to that. At the end though, I top with cilantro instead of parsley.

The other night, I did chicken tikka masala tacos for my taco pop-up. I did a cucumber raita and I put golden raisins in it. It was so good!

Of course, as you should. Wine is all about finding something you like. I just didn't think a bold red would go well with such a spicy dish. Maybe next time try a riesling; that would bring out some great flavors.
