* again I am not calling for everyone here to boycott these places. that's a personal decision for each of us to make, but I am posting this here again in response to the inquiry. This was discussed big time here back when this happened, so I'm not trying to reopen that discussion.

Several of those places bailed out after their participation caused some backlash before the event.

Friend,

I’ve boycotted his places for 18 months, as well as a good number more. Others gave me heat for not including Ancora in TulaneLSU’s Top 10 pizzas of NOLA, but they make a nasty pie. It seems the nastiness starts at the core. Dominos is much better.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Agreed. Ancora is not even in the top 3 pizza places on Freret Street.

while there is no evidence that these ridiculous cloth masks stop the spread. In fact the evidence shows that they don't stop them at all, which is why many hospitals have switched to a surgical mask only policy for their employees. Stop screaming science for every attack you make, you ignorant twats, when you also preach that gender is fluid. Yeah, science

This is the strangest part. As if his whole life would have been saved if he just wore a mask that someone sewed from excess fabric.

Well, he is a chef. It isn't strange, it's anger and ignorance. I wonder what he thinks of the millions of others who have contracted COVID. Did they not listen to the science?

If people are boycotting in political reasons they aren't going to be eating out much any longer.

If the picture posted in the other thread is up to date, I’d be scared too.

Quit being dramatic.

Absolutely nothing inflammatory about that statement

Nevermind, see your other post was about the Fatboy Pantry witchhunt. Will take about 30 seconds to figure out your motive and probably identity.

The fact that you are the face of a giant multi-million dollar fundraiser related to health care and post something like this is really disappointing.

Guilty as charged. But I’ve also seen how this pandemic has made access to preventive cancer screenings, cancer treatment, etc... that much harder on patients and families. So COVID is here, now what? How do we continue to help those in need?

And for anyone to just say this young man died because he didn’t believe in science just doesn’t seem to me to be a fruitful conversation. About a million things can go wrong for anyone in a hospital setting for any disease. Happens daily. Sad but it’s a very common result of the ultimate human condition.

You hear a story about a restaurant owner saying something possibly insensitive to a black woman and you immediately attack him.

Then you see a chef say something awful about a recently deceased person, and you hang low until you see an opportunity to attack another poster by soft doxxing him for his thoughts on the matter?

You showed your shitty self and hypocrisy in two posts. Has to be a new record.

I actually went to and supported the planned parenthood event. Not popular here - but I’m a huge supporter of reproductive rights. The event posted above. Just Cause.

It was 10000 degrees and i sweated my arse off.

But I do not and will never support antifa and other terror groups.

This is the reason I now vote republican.
