What’s your favorite cheese dip? I’m tired of rotel

Queso blanco velveeta, diced red onion, diced jalapeños, minced garlic all in an aluminum pan on the pit offset from the fire for an hour then mix it up. Sometimes I’ll add some Jimmy dean.

If you want something different.
Pesto Calabrese

Pesto Calabrese
quote:
This pesto Calabrese recipe combines smoky charred peppers, soft ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, creamy almonds and a healthy pinch of chilli flakes to create a wonderful sauce that can act as both a dip and a pasta sauce.

This stuff here is dominant for store bought. Make sure to get the “Original” and not the White.

I just made a kickass queso this weekend. I took a half block of white velveeta and tossed in a small can of green chilis with milk (to thin it out) in a small crockpot. For seasoning, I added some chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, adobo seasoning and a little chicken base. Turned out excellent. (Be careful with adobo, it can really bring up salt level if you use too much. Same with chicken base.).

Easiest recipe in the world.
Brown one pound of Jimmy Dean hot sausage and crumble it.
Melt one pound of Velveta in a microwave.
Combine sausage, cheese, and one can of Rotel tomatoes.
Add anything else that you might want.
You will thank me.

It's really just the velveeta fake cheese that I'm tired of. It's not bad, but a dip with real cheese is far superior.

Use cream cheese for something different. I actually like it better. And add ground beef and breakfast sausage.
