There is food is consistently good for a chain. That said, you are probably a fatty who loves the giant portions. Enjoy your 'beetus.

I don't know which one you're going to, but the one in Bham is over priced and very average seafood. For some reason, every black person with means think it's the greatest place in Bham. Always packed.

I don't know about all that. I do love me some Papasito's fajitas. Those are fricking awesome.

I feel sorry for you. You've clearly been eating at terrible restaurants in LA to come to this conclusion.

Papadeaux’s does fried soft shell crabs very well. Fried catfish and fried gator ain’t bad either.

That said, the gumbo is an abomination of what either the Acadiana Cajun or NOLA Creole version should be, the jambalaya is barely edible, and they give piss poor effort on the fried shrimp.

So no. You are wrong.

My one experience that I recall was in Beaumont in 2012 or so. Had fried catfish that was borderline inedible. Maybe they were just having a bad day.

it's expensive and pretty solid if you're not in Louisiana, other than that it would be pretty much average here

I've become a pro at deflecting invites to eat at this place. Seems every month or two friends suggest eating there for lunch or dinner.

I believe that we are wasting our time as you are far too gone.

Plus, we don't want people like him in the decent restaurants. So let's just let him keep eating at Papadeaux.
