We got it on our cruise out of Miami. I thought it was worth it. Gave me the peace of mind that I knew what my drinks were going to cost up front instead of being surprised at the end. It paid for itself with me, but the wife is a light weight so she only got enough drinks to make it worth it on the day at sea.

I'd go ahead and get it if I were you

I went on one last year and didn't get the package and it just became a hassle after a while. I didn't get it because the person I was staying with doesn't drink.

I got my money's worth on my last cruise.

Patron Margaritas are double shots. Alchemy Bar drinks are $10.50. If you're drinking beer, then it's probably not worth it. A couple drinks at dinner, at a show etc. and it adds up quick on pay as you go. You need to drink at least 6 per day to break even.

Everybody 21 or older in the cabin needs to buy it. It also includes bottled water and soft drinks.

Yea a bucket of Bud Light is $22 which makes me sick for 4 beers. They say the mixed drinks are major watered down as well. Seems like getting liquor on the rocks is the way to go. Thanks!

I didn't get it. My wife and I drank all we wanted and ended up spending about $150 less than what we would have if we would have bought it. Also, if you're a hero one night and want more than 15 drinks you cant get them, they cut you off. Remember too, you are paying for every day that you are on the ship, including they day you get off when you leave at 10 AM, the days you're at port for 8 hours..... just something to keep in mind. My vote is no, they wouldn't do it if they were losing money on it.

Did it a few years ago and was completely smashed for 80% of the trip. Definitely worth it.

No, On a four day cruise you pay for four days. The cutoff is 6:00AM. On port days it get tricky getting you money's worth. But on a four day it shouldn't be any problem.

hey baw I'm trash too! cruising on the breeze in Sept!
After researching and talking to various people we are getting it. I've been on a few cruises and have easily drank enough to make this package worth it. Like someone mentioned, If you drink beer it's a bad deal, but mixed drinks will get your money's worth in no time. I like high end whiskeys so I am probably really going to cash in on this!

Also... after 15 they cut you off totally but there are ways around it. If you really need a drink after that you have your room mini bar or you could order buckets of beer during the day so it won't count toward your 15.

TBH I'm a heavy drinker and have been testing myself lately. On Saturdays I start drinking at about 12-1 and have trouble making it to 15 drinks.

Went on a 7 day carnival cruise and got it.

100% worth it. Only complaint is that they cut you off after 15 drinks

I wouldn't and just sneak alcohol on the boat. It was literally the easiest thing to do in the world. We went on a cruise for a buddy's bachelor party and managed to get around 6 gallons on between 9 people.

Just tip $1 every time you go up. Almost no one tips already as they do the pre-paid gratuities. You'd be amazed how much of a difference it makes just by tipping that small amount. Bartenders will go straight to you, and the drink will be stronger.

Was having to go back to your room to make a drink a pain in the arse? I feel like it would be. If not, how did you get around that?

15/day or 15 total?
I'd be in the hospital if I downed 15 a day

Four of us (2 by the package.). We bring a cooler and always make sure and order our limit before we go bed. They will leave the cap on and we put them in the cooler for the next day. The girls don't drink beer, so we will get their fruity drink and they are happy. It saves so much money.

Im fairly trashy myself and will be on the triumph july 27th. On the inside, that boat looks like the golden girls hit the powerball lottery and designed a ship.

Say what yall want, I coined the phrase "walmart of the sea" a few years back and I still enjoy carnival cruises.
