Cajun Saltine Cracker Recipe

Posted by jeghead08 on 12/13/17 at 11:13 am
At a recent party someone had these great Cajun seasoned saltine crackers that I could not stop eating. I have found a few recipes online, but I'm not sure if they are correct. (canola oil, dry ranch dressing mix, crushed red pepper flakes and garlic powder) Looking to make a batch of my own and I ...
What's the word? Looks like KC's Grill will be moving into the old City Pork Kitchen & Pie in Industriplex soon. I see they moved into the old Tommy's Fish House in Prairieville a while back, but I have never been. Curious how it is because it's within walking distance of my office....

Was having to go back to your room to make a drink a pain in the arse? I feel like it would be. If not, how did you get around that?...
I grabbed a shrimp poboy Friday night and I was impressed. Live near by, so I was hoping it would be good. Shrimp were good size and the batter was solid. Bread was soft and fresh. I will definitely be getting that again. Picked up some crawfish on Sunday and they were decent. I like a little mor...
Some dealers will have them by the end of the year, but if you order a specific truck with anything unique you will have to wait until February for delivery. Went around Christmas time and got the Cochon de Lait special and it was delicious. Everything that we ate was really good. I was impressed as I had never even heard of it before we went. ...
I work a block from Exchequer and I never eat at that place. The food is average at best, but they always seem to have a good crowd at lunch time. A new place called Rouge Grill opened up not too far from it and it is also pretty meh. Tried it about a week ago and I probably won't be going back. ...

I had some at Mike's last night. Seasoned well but they boiled them too long. More than half were soft and therefore a lot of the tails broke apart. Very frustrating. ...

re: Peg Leg Pete's in Pensacola

My in-laws have a house on Pensacola Beach and Peg Leg's might be my favorite reason for heading east multiple times a year. I love fried seafood and the Cajun seafood combo (shrimp, catfish, oysters, stuffed crabs) there is tough to beat. I do agree that it isn't the nicest place, but I sure do lo...

I spoke with the head of Capital One business banking in Louisiana and he basically said this: "Eventually all major banks will start charging fees for checking (if every bank does it, then why not us), but Capital One has always been a bank that waits the longest to make changes like this that nega...

Basically I am screwed. The wife is cooking a chili and I need some tamales to go with. My only options are Matherne's, who sells Ivy's Pride, and Tramonte's, but I don't know the brand they sell....
