The problem with a well run Popeyes is if they have a great manager and if that's the case they will be promoted within a year because it's so rare

Popeyes has shite service, but chicken takes time to cook.

Fast food got shite on for being low quality and unhealthy, so now you have Wendy's making fancy Asiago Chicken Sandwiches from chicken that starts raw. It's no wonder you have to pull up and wait for stuff like that.

chicken is always much better quality because he doesn't just buy whatever the trucks deliver.

he makes sure to get the type of chicken you would buy yourself where other places just take the cheap crap too ugly to sell at the store so it goes into bulk boxes.

That's the biggest crock of bullshite I've ever read from you. I worked the chicken truck before when I worked for CARO and I can tell you it don't go that way. Pull up to the store and the cases are seperated into white and dark meat with weights from 38-42 pounds. You write down the weight for each case you bring into the store. They not rejecting it to go buy it from Wal-Mart or Rouse because they can't. They have to take whats on the truck, its in there contract.

They do it on purpose to make your tastebuds salivate some. Waiting a little bit makes the chicken taste better.

that is about the stupidest shite anyone has ever posted lol.

you don't actually believe your own BS do you?

you gonna pull a gun on them and make em buy your busted up chicken or just beat em up with a 2x4 if they don't buy it lol.

they inspect what is delivered "if they care to" and can reject anything they don't like at any time and that's it. they might be under contract to only buy from certain suppliers but its not up to you to dictate they have to take whatever "you" decide to give them you idiot.

you bring small chicken or with busted up broken bones he doesn't accept delivery and if need be gets a different supplier in 5 minutes that does deliver better quality chicken.

OMG "he has to take what I bring em" lol you are just too funny

I'll give it a shot. Almost every one that comes in there wants it fresh. So everybody is waiting on chicken not done yet. Couple that with people ordering large amounts for work during lunch, or a big family for dinner, you don't have enough fryers to keep up.

When I go and no one is in line really, it never takes long.

The Popeyes on Jones Creek has been great for my addiction. Good folks working there. Real pain to get to due to construction, but they have never failed me.

I've been to the Popeyes in Little Rock on Cantrell a couple of times and it was a great experience. Clean, fast, and surprising lacking in culcha.

I though I was dreaming.

The one on Hwy 415 in Lobdell is well run. We asked what the difference was and they said, "different ownership". They agreed that all of them in BR suck. Must say the last time I went to the Burbank/Bluebonnet store I was shockingly, pleasantly surprised(this was back in the fall though).
