right

there are only X amount of fryers that only hold X amount of chicken at a time.. start to finish, a batch is going to take ~15 min. Factor in people buying boxes of 24, 20, 16 etc and the chicken gets wiped out quickly

well ran stores know how to manage their product. poorly managed stores do not. remember all the dumbasses working in fast food, and when you're waiting in line at popeyes remember how you ranted on Facebook that FF workers shouldn't make more money

Jackson, MS Popeyes are just as bad.
When you pull up and order chicken, they looked shocked.

I had a buddy of mine swear the Popeyes on highway 30 was "insanely fast"

I called BS, knowing years of waiting was on my side.

We went through the drive through......and TOTAL TIME (from order placed to meal recieved) was 1 minute and 42 seconds.....

To this day i still believe im in a dream

Because it's good.
Popeyes is still a good product.
And you little lazy shits will wait.
You'll complain.. but you will be back. And you will wait.
Don't like it? Don't go back.
But you will go back..

I usually give them 30 minutes from the time I leave the house. If they are too quick that manager will be gone soon, not sure where they go.

Don't forget they have a lot of items to cook.

1. Chicken
2. Chicken tenders
3. Fries

But you do get some interesting conversation while there. One young lad was trying to get a date with one of the fine workers by the fryer area. All while everyone was in line last time I was there.

I've started stopping at the one in Rayne while traversing the I-10 regularly. Very impressive service, like a real business. I've commended their manager several times, last time I asked her how she felt about Baton Rouge. She said yeah, uh, no.

I miss the days when that was a buffet. I wrecked that place more than once...and vice versa.

I had a marvy experience at Popeyes in Monticello, Ar., the other day in the walk in line, for "dine" in.
Shaniquia Shauntell Jones took rapid care of my intense desire for 3 pieces of dark, spicy meat. It was fabulous and the chicken was fried to golden perfection.

I hit the one on GC Road in Houma once a month or so..... even though the line is long, they get through it pretty quick. It's all cuclha in there too but they have enough staff.

In the lobby they have 2 on each register taking orders and giving out cups.
An old lady in the middle who gives you your food and any condiments you may need
3 people filling orders

I use to eat there for free on Tuesday and Saturday when I worked for Caro. That was our second to last stop on the route, most of the time we made it our last. The GM told me and me Charlie Lee anytime we were in the area to stop in and our family could eat for free. I didn't have a wife or kids at the time but Ole Charlie loved him some chicken and would take his wife every other week or so.

completely agree, I drive 20 miles to go there when I want it because the manager there demands everything is to be kept clean, service is polite, respectful, and on time, and the chicken is always much better quality because he doesn't just buy whatever the trucks deliver.

he makes sure to get the type of chicken you would buy yourself where other places just take the cheap crap too ugly to sell at the store so it goes into bulk boxes.

They hire the worst possible racist people on earth as managers and then bring in people who aren't qualified to be a telemarketer to run the register. Therefore you get the food when they figure out how to make it.

I ordered a poboy once and the guy starts to make it, stops, tells someone he hates making poboys and walks out. Nobody else steps up to make it. I eventually lose my shite and start yelling. The manager says "fricking white boy" and tells me to wait outside. Got my money back and haven't been since.

Also has anyone ever received food through the window or do you always pull around?

I dont understand the hate that popeyes service gets on this board. The ones in the pineville/alexandria area are always fast and friendly. They very very rarely might be temporarily out of spicey or mild but when they are, they politely ask would you like to wait while we finish cooking or would you like a replacement item. I guess our managers are good over here.
