Thanks Dr Morgus and bayoudude for those recommendations. I was just going to buy the JD grapple. I like the idea of other options.

I thought about a box blade but no real driveway issues. I like the ability to pick up stuff. Granted with the grapple, I’ll have to deal with maneuvering hydraulic hoses around.
Christmas Tractor Implement Gift

It’s Christmas and I’m shopping for an implement for my JD 5045E tractor. I’m looking at a grapple bucket. Folks say it’s wonderful. Any thoughts or ideas that I need to consider. Open to other implements also. I’ve got a bale spear and a bucket already.

North Korea doesn’t scare me as much as the folks waiting in line at Popeyes waiting for their chicken sandwich.
Seoul Information

Going to Seoul tomorrow. My son has been there several months teaching English. Anything that I need to see or not see while I’m there. I’ve heard that the War Museum is good and maybe going to the DMZ. Any helpful hints are most welcome.

Driving on the other side of the road will give you a headache the first few days.
The first 2 lane roundabout you come to will give you a heart attack.
A beautiful country.

Woke up this morning to Gemini telling me that my BTC limit buy order filled at $3600 last night.
That was a surprise because BTC has been above $4000 for the last few days.
Must have a been a dip that I didn't hear about.
Ain't complaining.

Every dog has its day.
Someone on this thread mentioned SNT on this thread a few months ago and I bought a little.
It's been in the toilet ever since but by damn it's been up the last few days.

re: Anyone ever grown an oak tree from an acorn
Posted by Hatcher Hall Shrink on 9/22/17 at 7:25 pm to ctowntiger
My father picked up some acorns from some of those humongous live oaks on the LSU campus about 40 yrs ago and put the acorns in a pot. The biggest problem was keeping the squirrels from digging them up. He put wire over the pots until they became saplings and then put them in the yard. The next problem was making sure I didn't mow them over. Now they are taller than the house and are branching out nice. Very pretty and now we have a little LSU here in our Jackson, MS home.
