I like La Lucha and Dak & Bop. Have also heard rave reviews about Barbeque Inn on the Northside.

They do anything other than flats and drums? I like wings to, but when I hear "fried chicken" my mind immediately goes to a thigh and leg.

Gus's for straight up fried chicken. The wings at betelgeuse betelgeuse are awesome if you haven't tried them.

I forgot about the Nguyener Nguyener Chicken Dinner. Definitely has not disappointed the times I've had it.

Nah just wings. So yeah doesn’t really fit the threat but tossed it out seeing that all your restaurants were north side

Off topic but betelgeuse’s pizza is some of my favorite in the city (for what it is)

+1

I'm convinced that Asians make the best fried chicken at this point. My top 3 wings are from Thai, Korean, and Chinese places.

It's not filled with spices etc like Louisiana style, but Barbecue Inn is an absolute classic. Like stepping back in time.

Except unlike other places, they haven't gone down hill. Still the exact same as they were.

and it checks the "would i be surprised if someone is stabbed within 1/4 mile" ambience box on the scorecard.

Any of y'all been to esthers lately? They do fried chicken but I've never had it there, I usually get the peppered steak or pork chops.
