Just something about him… maybe his pretentious writing or his punchable face

it’s everything about him. This “foodie” fad has gotten so tiring.

Is Pascales any better the last couple years? Haven't been in about a decade. I know some things have changed.

Seems like there are a few nostalgia places on there. Pascales, Dooky Chase, Brightsen, Galatoires....

I may be skipping over some, but not a single Besh place on there (edit: August made it). No Saba either. Such a change from a decade ago.

Ive enjoyed it the handful of times I’ve gone in the past 2-3 yrs. I didnt go prior to that so I cant compare it.

Ralph’s on the Park is a surprise. They must have seriously stepped up their game. I know they got a new chef.

Friend,

Crabby Jacks might be the most glaring error. I can name 32 better restaurants that serve poor boys. In fact, I would argue that Crabby Jacks is one of the worst places to get a poor boy in the
Metro. Liuzza’s is unworthy and if you served the food served at Mosca’s anywhere else it wouldn’t stay open more than three months. Impastato’s will remain a locals only secret I suppose.

Yours,
