Ate there Saturday night for my Grandpa's 89th birthday.
It's old school, home-cooked style food in a pretty authentic
little town South Louisian atmosphere. Don't expect healthy options or anything super fancy.
I had a fried softshell crab on a bed of angel hair pasta covered in shrimp alfredo.

Been a few years but I always enjoyed it.

Spot on. I grew up around there and it has always been pretty good food in a semi-casual atmosphere.

It's less than an hour's drive from one of the best restaurant cities in the world.

I like it. Just don't order any fish dishes (it's basa)
My favorites are the shrimp n' butterbeans, and the chicken wings w/ petit pois stew

There’s a reason I’m asking.

It’s pretty solid for lunch. My father in law rides his motorcycle and stops there. I have rode my bike with him and stopped a few times.
Really nice people. Cool place. Helped him out when he had a flat.
I give them a thumbs up.

I can. I eat at Nobiles often but on fridays. I think it's delicious. Their fried fish is some of the best I've ever had and their onion rings are to. Their burgers are pretty great and people tell me their pork chops are outstanding.

Oh I forgot the butterbeans and shrimp are very good also.

All sounds like up my alley. I’m putting them on my list.
