I think they will keep popping up but the ones that are good will stay and the others will die off.

I gave the restaurants 30 years or so before I gave up on them.

I gotta admit, that's pretty smart, cause there are never changes, right? Every burger I've ever had, tasted just like that 1st A & W Root Beer burger that gal brought me while wearing roller skates back in the 50's,,, dry, like cardboard.

I won't complain.

I really find that hard to believe.

I wish Houma would get a good burger joint!

Had 5 guys today for the first time. It was good! But $22 for 2 burgers, 1 lg fry and one lg drink is high. But way better than any fast food place. I would eat again!

Never have enjoyed these burgers. I'd rather a fat cow, and I am not a big fat cow fan.

For me, I can eat a burger and beer at a lot of places that I find to be a damn good burger. Sammys, George's, etc.

I've noticed my "trendy" friends like these fancy burger joints. They are also the ones that like avacDo and jalapeños on their burgers.

We grill burgers at home in the summer about once a month, and they are great. I've never had one at any restaurant that was really worth a damn.

And is it the reason ground meat prices keep rising?!

Are there more cows than people in the US?

I can't stand either one.

Burgersmith is dry and flavorless. And Fat Cow grinds multiple sticks of butter into their patties and they taste like breakfast sausage

Both of those places opened during my college days and I thought both of them had crappy burgers.

Whenever I go to BR next I'm heading to City Pork.

Those aren't trendy friends...they're Mexicans

All joking aside...avocado on a burger is great. But I like avocado on a lot of things

I have been to The Counter and also trendy places like Father's Office here in Los Angeles. They are good. But I still prefer the burgers at a good little hole in the wall pub. There are 3 within walking distance that fit that bill to me and I love them.

Fat Cow was really really good the first 3-4 weeks of opening. I went a few times. then i waited a few months and went back it is was not good.

Im still a proponent to Brewbachers Drucilla location only. There is something about the grill there that makes them great. All other locations suck.
