My wife and I are expecting our daughter in a week and a half, and we thought one last date night for just the two of us would be nice.

Pretty much open to anything, only caveat is that we would prefer to avoid steak or any meat that is best closer to rare due to the pregnancy.

So where would you go for your last nice meal as a family of two?

ETA: Looking to go this Friday, if that changes answers.

I mean, there can be meat (TWSS). Just not a big thick rare steak (also WSS).

I think the mercury in most fish is probably worse than rare meat, if you're really worried about such a thing in pregnancy.

Of you really want to go all out then R'evolution. Tell them the circumstances and I'm sure they would make it special for you.

Despite the previous concern regarding mercury levels in fish, the FDA now recommends that women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan on becoming pregnant consume more fish. Fish contain vital nutrients including omega-3 fatty acids, protein, vitamins, and minerals such as iron. These nutrients are essential, particularly for pregnant moms, as they foster healthy fetal, infant, and childhood development.

This is at least what I have been told.
