Boudin, Crawfish, Seafood, Baton Rouge has some places. How about begeron's in port allen or like others have said, sammy's, dempsey's, one of our local boudin places, etc. We have food here that other places in the country don't have.

Oh, of course.

I was afraid it was some sort of hipsterish moniker that I wasn't yet up to speed on.

mason's shrimp burger was featured on a show. i think louie's seafood omelet is a solid contender for any omelet.

No doubt !!

I do not think all the places featured on the show are that great. Some are, but I have seen a few spots that looked to be nohting special.

Kinda like the Mississippi resturant owner on the show who claimed, we use real cajun sasauge in our gumbo, We get it from a place in Baton Rouge called Manda's meats

Christina's always gets left out. Great plate lunch and they pack you in like sardines.

I think Pastime could be one. DD&D wants places with something different. Pastime surely has some different pizzas.

Louie's could definitely work as well. Can you imagine French on TV?

Chelsea's would be another good one.

I would sign up for PPV to watch Fieri try to pay for a meatball at Pocorello's with a Credit Card.

Watching high school dropout "chefs" open and heat SYSCO packages could sure make for a compelling 10 minute TV segment.
