It was very tasty. It has absolutely no association to a king cake, and I found myself irrationally annoyed that it was called a "king cake".
It was basically a stuffed bread. Which again, very tasty.
Stop calling these things "king cakes".

I just had a seafood king cake. Warm, savory, crawfish stuffed with an icing that has a pinch of crab boil in it.
