5 pounds is an appetizer if I'm at a place with expensive arse crawfish. I'll eat 15-20 at the house.

you don't sound very coonass to me. in fact, where did you grow up? Cold crawfish, shrimp, fried fish, etc. Same only different.

Or are you a "coonass" from Jena?

Is it trashy to eat crawfish from the icebox?

Hell no! Pretty decent hangover food.

Man, this is just me, but I don't like eating any food that was once warm... cold. It doesn't matter if it's pizza or whatever.. But I know some coonasses who eat them cold. This past Friday I had boiled crawfish and the people's house I was at peeled about a half of sack, put them in the refrigerator and I stopped by there on Sunday and they took them out and was just eating them cold.

I like eating them as soon as they are poured out..

My ole lady will not eat them warm or cold. Must be hot. She microwaves leftovers and I have to say, it’s pretty good if those fish are still juicy. I like em cold though.

Nope. Born and Raised in Louisiana. Wish I had an excuse. I love em, just can't eat a whole lot at once.

Nah I peel them cold. This rarely happens but when there is a decent amount left over we will bag and put in the fridge. I like the flavor of the juice while sucking the head cold as well.

Do you just throw it all away? A sack is like 35-40 lbs. For a family of 4 or so, you are going to have leftovers. Pain to peel them and not eat immediately. Annoying to steam or something to reheat sometimes. Snacking on them straight from the fridge isn't a terrible option.

Nope. Pecanniere. That’s pretty deep coonass territory.
