It's a shame.

"Three years ago (tomorrow). We opened for our first day. Three days ago, we had our last day. Thank you to everyone who came through the doors in any capacity in that time. I hope that we brought more happiness that sadness in that time. So thank you again for everything. #yourformerfavoriterestaurant #thankyou #goodrun"

I wonder if it is because they wouldn't do take-out. I had a regular craving for their spicy goodness, but always want my Chinese to-go.

Maybe they should've taken to-go orders.

Saw this earlier and was genuinely sad. One of my favorite restaurants in the city, and it was almost always packed. It can't be about business because they did great business.

Either its a rent issue, ownership issue, or they fricked up their accounting real bad.

An Asian restaurant that doesn't do takeout sounds like a bad idea.

They weren't some shitty strip mall chinese takeout place.

It was slightly more upscale hipster chinese run by some whites.

They did takeout during covid and got burned out on it and just wanted to focus on dine in. The place was hard to get a reservation at last minute, it was almost always full. Its hard to imagine this being a business thing.

Probably a rent issue then.

Just told my wife that I wanted to go back and get the spicy chicken dish again. Had szechuan peppers out the arse (In a good way / No homo).

My wife and I were just saying we hadn't been there in a few months and she was craving some of their stuff. Huge bummer.

Never particularly liked it. Not sure what it was, but I know a lot of people liked the place. Sucks.

On a similar note, Red's looks like they are still trying to come back. Hoping early part of 2023.

Was going to go Sunday for lunch. I've been craving an egg roll. Then I forgot they are closed for lunch. That could have something to do with it as well.

no lunch, no takeout. let me guess, no bar either sounds like they were food people, not business people

i always wanted to go and try their chow fun. oh well

Cherubical white fellows cooking Chinese food who perhaps took theirselves a little too seriously. Opened 5 hours a day, reservations only, dine in only, not on delivery apps, closed two days a week. Basically the blueprint on how to not generate revenue. Couple that with the labor market and crime = donezo

Dry chili chicken was so good!!

I have made it at home and it came out just as good, if not better!

Going to miss this place though.
