Some cat brought us Dons all the way over here a couple weeks ago. I told him I worked in Scott for 3 years before taking this job and that he took a wrong turn going around the new round-about. He laughed and said next time he'll get the good stuff.

I like Billy's/Early's/NuNu's & Don's sometime, but I have to be honest, Rascal's has the best boudin in the area.

It's at the Mire/Duson exit, one exit down from Scott. It's in the truck stop on the north side of I10 across from Loves. They might have one of the best chili dogs in the area as well.
The guy who runs it is Don, of the original Don's, though the boudin is totally different than what you can get at the store in Scott. They also have pretty good boudin balls, with and without pepperjack cheese.

I don't know about their boudin, but that seafood Buffett on Friday is legit. I've also heard they make the best steaks in the Acadiana area. (Just reporting what I've heard)
