I have friends flying in from out of town today and they want crawfish for dinner. I have not had them at either restaurant yet this season. Thanks for your opinion.

Never had them at Walk Ons, but if you're not sure, I'd venture to say Sammy's. Sammy's are pretty good.

Anything Vs Walk-Ons is a pretty easy question.. The answer is always Anything.

Walk Ons Food is usually below average.

Sammy's has been doing good crawfish for years. They got it down pretty solid. Just make sure you get there early!

Neither one of those places has good crawfish. I suggest that you take them to Heads & Tails right off of Perkins. I'm very picky about my crawfish being seasoned well and I was a food reviewer for some time, so this is my recommendation.

Would you, by chance, be connected to Head and Tails in some way?

No I just like their crawfish. I've heard Tony's also had good crawfish, but I've never tried it. I just had a bad experience at Walk-Ons with their crawfish because they brought it to me cold and I didn't think Sammys was seasoned enough. I've never been disappointed with Heads & Tails though, but no, I have no affiliation with them. Just passing along where there's well seasoned crawfish. If out of towners don't like a lot of spice though, maybe some other place would be better.

they were phenominal.

Sammy's are good, but Michael Cashio at Heads and Tails are better, also Stabiler despite my thinking his City Cafe's being extremely overrated, does know how to boil crawfish very well.
