Superior Fajitas are elite with the garlic butter.

While the fajitas at Tio Javis are just good, they serve it with a Pechuga butter sauce (kinda like a wine infused butter) that is unreal.

Blue Corn on Essen. Great cocktails as well.

Mis Padres, Prairieville location. Do not go to the location in Geismar. I am not sure if it is different ownership, but the quality of food at the Geismar restaurant has never been able to match the quality of food at the Prairieville restaurant.

They make their own homemade flour tortillas. Medium rare for the steak -- as it will continue to cook on the sizzling cast iron platter.

Baton Rouge- Tio Javis which is my family favorite, and a place I've been a regular at since the old Ninfas days. Ask for the chihuahua toppings on the fajita. Great tortillas and margs as well.

PVille- Partial to Rio Cantina on Airline. Same owners as Las Palmas, but better food. Also love the warm bean dip.

This. The Airline location is always good, the Hwy 73 location is below average.

The one thing about the Geismar location is that it has always been subpar compared to the Airline/Prairieville location. They are very consistent about that.
