Every other good sandwich in the area is at the same price point. Thats why your opinion is wrong & baseless

I think both of the other two are better sandwiches.
Seems the concept of subjectivity is a struggle for you. You put more value in potato chips on a sandwich than I do. That’s fine.

This thread is making me want to go get a Moon so bad.
Back when Charlie’s was still Charlie’s and Zapps were still Zapps. A quarter of a moon, bag of BBQ zapps, and an ice cold barqs out a glass bottle. Heaven.

Really ain't that hard to understand...it's not the meal, but where their money goes. Just like any other business.

Milk Bar uptown is wildly slept on.
That bread they use is fantastic. I believe owners are from New Zealand. It just somehow gets lost in the shuffle.
One other deep cut, albeit Slidell, is the turkey sandwich at Counter Culture.

lol exactly
Case in point.
There’s always been something anonymous about that place.
Strip mall inconspicuous, like tons of good eateries in Los Angeles

Lunch Sandwich Shop on Broadway is an incredibly delicious sandwich that’s not a poor boy.
Stein’s, obviously.
Parkway and Guy’s.
The Slow Roasted Duck at Crabby Jacks.
The half poor boy and cup of soup special at Liuzza’s By The Track.

Solid Bahn Mi but I miss when they were like $3-5 still they are dirt cheap. Also the Peking duck they sell at that counter is a good deal.

Corner Oyster House on Jackson Square serves their breakfast menu all day, the Big Easy Breakfast Sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant will hit the spot at night when you're all oyster'd and Cajun food'd out. It's a "circumstantial great sandwich" if you will.
People shite on Johnny's but I've never had a bad poboy there. But I also haven't been to any of the "better than Johnny's" places either, I only go to NOLA as a tourist. And I'm not a psychopath like TulaneLSU who is going to plan my trip around trying out 11 poboys in 9 hours.
