Not the best I've ever had, but I sincerely miss Baton Rouge when I think of an Inga's Best.

Just mentioning some types not mentioned above:

Soft-shell crab poboy at the Lacombe Crab Festival
Homemade BLT made with quality mayo, bread and Creole Tomatoes
Kid Creole roast beef
Muff from DiMartini's
Italian Sub from Stein's Deli

ETA: My mom's "tuna fish sandwiches" that she sent to grammar school with me - light mayo, mustard and oil-packed tuna. By the time lunch rolled around, the oil had soaked into the bread. I would eat the crust first, then I had a little square of white bread left. Then I'd squish the square as flat as I could get it, sometimes even folding it over on itself. Good times. . .

Ridiculously good. Top three for me easily.

The Wednesday special at Parenton's. Chicken parmesan po-boy is up there as well. Also the medianoche at El Liborio in NOLA. Not always available, but when on the special board a must order.

the club sandwich from the pink pony in gulf shores is a great one.

but the best i've ever had has to be the club sandwich from my home town bar and grill.

the dugout grill and bar AKA rockys tails and shells.

Used to eat the shrimp Philly from Goodwood grill at least once a week. Current favorite is the Jazz Daddys special.

That is a strong sandwich. The portabella/grilled chicken melt is one of my favorites as well. Southwest meatloaf too...there are just too many damn sandwiches to be had at CM.
