Looking for something different to stop at to eat on the way to OBA. Family of 4 with kids under 7.

Have done, Felix's, Ralph and Kacoo's, Bucee's, and Cracker Barrel in the past.

Any suggestions?

R&R and Bluegill are two other options on the causeway. Both are comparable to Felix's (Bluegill is owned by the same folks) and both are better than Ralph and Kacoo's.

OBA is either the Oklahoma Bar Association or Orange Beach, Alabama.

I'm betting on the latter as OP's destination.

May as well hit up The Shed in Ocean Springs. It's right off the interstate with plenty of room for the kids to run around and get some energy out.

You already know you are going to have to stop at Buccees. Might as well just grab something there and then get to the beach.

For BBQ go to SaltPepperOak in Pass Christian. No real "experience" like the Shed, but way better BBQ.

Dammit. This was my OT answer. Since it’s on the Food Board now I’ll give you a suggestion. We’ve taken the nephews to Groovy Goat in Foley before and it’s kid friendly with decent enough food. They have a game room for the kids to play in as well.

Besides the rolls everything else is terrible. It's a tourist trap that your kids might like b/c of the throwing of the rolls, but the food is awful.

We've hit mug shots in Gulf Port, and Mellow Mushroom in Daphane before. Nothing special but easy off the interstate and decent good.

Since someone mentioned letting kids get some energy burnt, how about Lulu's? Typical tourist (overpriced) type place but decent burgers and fried seafood and place for the kids to run around until the food is ready.

No worse than Ralph and Kacoo's or Bucee's.

We stopped there one time and I ordered smoked chicken. It came out way undercooked. You could see the blood in the joints. The manager tried to tell me it was pink from the smoke. I told him that I had smoked plenty of chickens to know the difference.
