The one we go to is in Prairieville on Airline Hwy a little south of the big Walmart (On opposite side of Airline from Walmart). I've gotten several pasta dishes there but never a pizza. I will try it this weekend myself.

Can we just all admit the entirety of the pizza scene in BR is grossly deficient? All of these pies look like trash.

Make the best of it.

I'm looking forward to hearing how it is.

I wonder if the two locations are owned by the same people?

Schlitz lost my business after eating there last year and two roaches crawled on our table.

Fluer de Lis always has my heart due to the nostalgia.

Red Zeppelin is good but kinda pricy.

Romans on perkins and bluebonnet. $12 for a pizza. They have a chicken shawarma, gyro, pepperoni and Margarita. I think it’s the best in BR. Used to be a FDL advocate but no more after romans

Pizza Byronz square/detroit style is the best pizza in South BR at the moment.

My wife and I tried them out last week and really enjoyed our experience. The service was great and their patio was a cool spot even for a summer lunch. Went with the square as you recommended and was not disappointed. My wife said their cauliflower crust is the best she's had. We will definitely have them in our rotation now.

Tried the place that moved into where mellow mushroom used to be.

Motza's. Had some pretty good pizza. Service was terrible. Especially given the fact we were the only table occupied.

If 1 table and some guy at the bar drinking alone is a typical Saturday afternoon for this place, it won't last long.

maybe it was just because school is out right now?

I used to really like Mellow Mushroom's pizza and I had high hopes for this new place, but it opened at an unfortunate time (beginnings of covid lockdowns) and the limited yelp reviews were not good and the yelp pics of their pizza looked gross, so I never ended up trying.

Other than service issues, you said the pizza was good?

I got Motza's through Door Dash and loved it. Way better than Fat Boy or City Slice

After ten years living outside of Louisiana, Fleur de Lis is the only pizza I still crave occasionally.

Oh man youre bringing back memories of the 90s. When my parents had their date nights, they'd get us one of those giant pizzas. I cant remember what they were called but I ate nearly the whole thing by myself.

Just giving a nod to everyone that suggested Diversion Pizza. We just left and man it was delicious. The crust definitely did it for me. It’s a bit of a drive from BR but I’ll go back that way for it again

OK, that's it. I'm going on Sunday to give it a try.

I also may grab one from Fratelli's, just to compare.
