Sometimes on way back from fishing I stop at Today's Ketch and it's always good.

Also, Tag's deli inside Mickey's meat market has one of the best muffs in greater New Orleans.

Forgot about Stella Maris. Really good.

Also, about an 8 minute drive to Claiborne and Tupelo in the lower 9th, but the Taco Truck has some of the best tacos in the city. Lengua gorditas are the way to go. Cash Only.

If you're coming in from the East / Slidell, take a detour to Dong Phuong on your way back and load up on their meat pies.

Don't ask what's in them, just grab at least one of everything they have.
