Zuppardos gets Dong Phongs delivered either daily or weekly.

They have tons of flavors of Caludas too

Is that still the case with them getting DP? I thought DP might only be doing in house or direct deliveries this year.

Just order online for pick-up. Nonna Randazzos in Covington has a smooth process.

Can't speak for others.

I know Duong Phuong doesn't offer online orders.

Flavors Snowballs in Kenner usually grabs a few different ones everyday (Dong Phuong, Randazzos, Hi-Do, Bywater Bakery).

I want this info as well. We are thinking of doing this for clients in the Dallas/FW area and would rather not send crap ones from whole foods.

I would like to hear which ships the best

Dong Phoung are shipping this year I believe, through their website. But I think you have to check back daily, they are mostly sold out right now.

they are my favorite but are not traditional.

Somewhat more traditional I think Manny Randazzo's ships as well.

Galette de Rois from Maple Street Patisserie.

Traditional French king cakes blow today's king cakes out of the water.

They've been shipping for a few years now...but shipping costs as much as the actual King Cake itself.

This is true. For traditional Tartine has a really good one. Dong Phuong can be purchased at Bourre'.

ETA: Caluda's can be bought at Zara's.

Haydel’s usually isn’t bad to get into and out. I’m sure today they and most other places were slammed though

I don't need to drive 15 minutes to Metairie for an inferior King Cake.

Yeah, but today is Kings Day, which signifies the start of Mardi Gras season.
Lots of folks ran out and got king cakes today
