I don't know what's worse, the original tweet or the wannabe coonasses saying to put some Tony's on it.

Their claws look a lot different. Look more like fat lobster claws rather than the thinner ones you see in LA.

Don't they consider them an "invasive species".

Saw on his show that apparently Finland also has a great crawfish stock.

I bet those Finnish ones taste a lot better than ours too since they come from crystal clear streams and not muddy swamplands.

ETA: That corn looks bland af

Yeah, but I think those weirdos eat them with dill.

Crop way down this year. Too cold in Minnesota this winter.

The red swamp crawfish are. And that’s what they were freaking out about last summer. This is obviously their native species. They look a bit different from ours...most notably the claws.

Eta: I think that was actually Michigan, not Minnesota.

When I'm in Minnesota and want seafood, I'm picking up some smoked Ciscoes.

I've lived in MN 20 years and have not seen this.

No plans on looking for it either!

I watched this episode last night. They used VERY LITTLE seasoning in the pot and no dusting (not a fan of dusting but at least its something). While they were eating them, it looked way under seasoned.

Could be wrong but mentioned it to the wife while they were boiling.

It's Minnesota. Anything spicier than butter is a challenge for them.

Crawfish are in the lakes in Wisconsin as well. When we were kids and we used to see them in our lake, we'd try and take the end of an oar and crush them. My dad told us they would eat the walleye and musky minnows.
