Best Jewish Deli in the Southeast
Jewish delicatessens are some of my favorite restaurants. Obviously, we lack good ones compared to the Northeast and California. I’m sure some parts of southern Florida have good ones, but I’m unfamiliar.

What are the better Jewish delicatessens in the Southeast region of the US? My favorites are

Steins - New Orleans (clear cut favorite)
General Muir - Atlanta
Noshville - Nashville

Friend,

Correct. The only thing clear cut is that Kosher Cajun Deli is better than Stein’s.

Bagelicious in Marietta is a really good traditional Jewish deli. Also, I wouldn’t really consider the general Muir a deli

general muir is certainly the most appealing of them all to visit in person ... and they do have a deli counter just to the right when entering.

Not southeast, but it's closer than Atlanta is to Louisiana.

Kenny & Ziggy's in Houston. And it's a true NY Delicatessen, Ziggy is from NY, and his family used to own delis.

Here is the documentary on it. Deli Man (Ziggy is a main focal point, but all about jewish delis): LINK

Is this a list of the only three 'Jewish' Deli's you have eaten at in the south?

Noshville is garbage.
Steins is just owned by a Jewish guy.

I'm going to pick something in Miami or Palm Beach that I have never been to.

No, but they aren’t on every corner unlike BBQ, burger, and TexMex spots, you stupe.

Noshville is my least favorite of the three, but it has the best matzo ball soup imo. General Muir was solid, but Steins is the best I’ve had (in the Southeast). I do need to try the Kosher Cajun spot next time in New Orleans.

Steins is better than Kosher Cajun. But Kosher cajun is a kosher deli.

Similar foods, but they will have different flavors just due to the raw products available and assembly products available to them.

Adding cheese does make food much better but significantly less Kosher

I love A good Reuben and I’m like warm on Stein’s Reuben, but the SAM is amazing.

NY Bagel In BR has solid sandwiches. Their Reuben is good.

Kenny and Ziggy’s in Houston is ok.

From my limited knowledge, adding dairy products to meats is not Kosher.

If I had to bet it’s somewhere in Miami/south fl where there is a healthy Jewish population
