Its out of Texas.

Its so annoying that I can't get any fresh Dankosaurus. Its on every shelf, but they are always old, and it is not a beer that ages well, at all.

Community is good, but I don't like it as much as some. Deep Ellum was ok when I tried it.

I agree with liking fresh Dankosaurous more than YR these days.

Didn't know Stash had a new recipe. A friend and her husband brought me a 6 pack of it back in May for our crawfish boil, and I swore to never invite them again.

Seriously, there's at least 20 IPAs in Oregon better. Fresh Squeezed probably is the biggest seller of all of the IPAs in Oregon because of Deschutes, though. I don't know if that's the criteria or not.

I don't think that would be it, because they listed Project Dank for New Mexico (rightfully so), but because of distribution/availability, Elevated and Marble IPA or probably larger volume sellers in that state.

Pinthouse probably has 3-4 on tap at the moment better than Yellow Rose

Yeah that's surprising.

Both are so damn good though.

Heady Topper isn't even the best IPA made by The Alchemist. Focal Banger is much, much better. Sip is out of this world, though. So many good IPAs in VT.

They did get mentioned though:

quote:

Yes, The Alchemist—maker of the legendary IPAs Heady Topper and Focal Banger—is in Vermont. And another Green Mountain brewery, Hill Farmstead has exploded to legendary status as well. But beer, like most things, comes down to personal tastes, and Sip of Sunshine from Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Warren is my favorite Vermont IPA. Fruitier than the uber-bitter Heady Topper, less composed than Hill Farmstead's Susan, Sip of Sunshine is assertive in all the right places.

I've never tried this one. There's a lot of good IPA in Montana. Most of it at small breweries.

Oregon: Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA

I will defer to the Oregon experts that this one is not the best, but it's delicious. It's on tap all over MT, and is my grocery store go-to IPA.

I refer to it as a "fall back beer". Very good beer, but, due to it's availability in every gas station and drug store in the state, I don't drink it very often. I normally choose beers that I don't know if I'm going to find next week - one offs or seasonal offerings.

I think Louisiana is going to start seeing more of these seasonal/one offs as more and more great IPAs start hitting the shelves. I love these change ups, and I know the brewers like to have fun experimenting, too. I know that if Parish were to do a one off of an experimental IPA, there would be multiple threads on this message boards for weeks before and after it is released, and PSA's on where the beer is on tap, etc... That's fun, to me. But right now, I'm sure Parish has trouble producing enough of their regular lineup to spend much time on that.

They're both good beers. Modus is one of my go to's. I love that beer.

This is true. Zappa, make sure to go to the Lamar location. Close call between Electric Jellyfish and You Holdin Bro? for best in the state.

Yep had one last week, BTW DFH 90 Min also a DIPA, so I dont think they differentiated on their list. If you see Bodhi get it, just started being available in bottles this year. It had been growler fill only for a long time.
