Check this site out brosef
Gives you all the advice you need. Personally, I'm a charcoal guy but have nothing against a gas grill.

Cool. I'm thinking it's time to stop repairing my Great Outdoors model, and I hate seeing all the poor reviews on the Brinkman, Chargrill, Kenmore etc. stuff but did not want to pay Weber prices.

I have had a Holland Grill going on for 8 years now. Always cooks to perfection and will never flare up. Does not burn your food up!

Vermont Castings get good reviews, have no idea about the $$$.
I agree with the ceramic crowd and have a Primo Oval XL that is up to speed in 10-15 minutes using an electric starter and half fire box. When you factor in longevity and quality of food to initial cost to purchase it makes a lot of sense. Mine is 4+ years old with a lot of use and have only had to replace the gasket between the top and bottom of the shell, + no maintenance.

really stay away from Charbroil.. I had one, my dad and my boss.. 3 years later all dealing with the same problems. excessive rust due to shoddy parts and build quality. If you want to replace you grill every 3-5 years then I guess the money is well spent. But I wont buy another grill made in China. Of course that only leaves me with Webber (non spirit line) pretty much.
