Both solid. Also the fried chicken at the Feed Lot in Rayvegas is top notch. I'd put it on par with the too above.

In Baton Rouge I like Chicken Shack best.

(and yes, I've been to Wednesday fried chicken day at Stockyard Cafe.)

Ah!! thanks for reminding me. I lived right off of Univ Park back in the 90s and used to eat there all the time. I'm in Kansas City now and anyone visiting needs to eat at Stroud's if fried chicken is their vice.

Momofuko Noodle Bar, NYC, fried chicken dinner.

I saw they don't take reservations but do for chicken dinners, can you not just walk in order some buns, noodles, and some fried chicken? I ask b/c I'm going there in April.

The best fried chicken I've had is Max Wine Dive and an ex GF's mom's.

Ate at the one in downtown Austin last week.

Great stuff. Plus I had a few glasses of wine with it.

I believe the Hush Supper Club at Steins has been discussed on this board before. Chef Pete does a Korean Fried Chicken(KFC), he dresses with a honey ginger sauce along with a few other drizzlings of asian sauces. He serves with an asian slaw and serves with a stick bun if you want to turn it into a sandwich. Insane.

R2R will tell you the man is a hack. I assure you he is far from it. New Orleans is far from Avant Garde, but Chef Pete brings a little flare and this offering is Primo!!

Think old white men...Obama slippers...crowd out the door...strech limo...10:30 at night...2 lbs of gizzards...deaf mute midget...

Now mix all those ingredients in Homer...that'll give you a few ideas.
