Help me out Ruston people, circa 1980. There was a little cafe run out of a lady’s house. The served plate lunches during the week, and it was a treat.

Monkey’s Bar in Costa Rica.

I got seafood-stuffed lobster and my son got fried snapper.

You eat outside and there are flies galore. If a fly lands on my food, normally the whole thing is going in the trash…but here you couldn’t keep the flies away. A fly landed in my sauce and was doing the backstroke across my plate. I just nudged him aside and kept eating. One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten.
