I spent 30 minutes watching an infomercial about the "copper pot" the other day, and now I want one.
A buddy of mine bought a burger stuffer, homemade potato chip maker, and soda maker. All were crap.

My grandpa was a big informercial shopper and bought all of his grandkids a Miracle Blade knife set.
I still have a few of them and they actually work pretty well. I just searched and saw that you can still get the set on Amazon for $25.

I'm not sure if this specific product was on a infomercial, but I definitely remember the non-stick pan infomercials T-Fal used to air.
There 12" Professional Non-Stick Saute Pan is fantastic. I bought it after America's Test Kitchen rated it the best non-stick pan.

I use the perfect eggwich and the potato express. Both work pretty well for what they're intended to do.

Uhhhhh. You don't need a Baggie to put a potato in to put it in the microwave for 4 minutes. You can just throw it in on a plate and do that. I do it all the time. Worst case, throw some Saran Wrap around it.
