Superior also makes best spicy brisket soft tacos I've eaten.
Margaritas are awesome.
Always loved the place.

I'd take Shreveport over st Charles and BR though.

Its just a bunch of grilled veggies and a meat. Probably most of the Mexican places have good fajitas

The best fajitas in Baton Rouge is not exactly setting the bar very high. I stopped ordering them because everywhere has been a big disappointment. Ninfa's fajitas used to be good but their fajita meat is not cooked/seasoned the same as it once was.

I'm amazed so many people think Superior is edible, great if you grew up on TB. I am not a big fajita fan until my wife talked me into the Poblano fajita at Fernando's on Coursey. The best I've had including some pretty gritty places in SE Houston.

Coyote Blues but had Mestizo's the other day and they were surprisingly decent

They also have the best chicken fried steak in town. You have to ask for it.

Agreed. It's almost as if the fajitas are now pre-cooked. I say this because my food comes out usually in less than 8 to 10 minutes the last 2 times I have been there and they have been busy.

I agree that they need to have homemade and/or corn tortillas, otherwise they're not worth a shite.

Ninfas is nowhere near what it once was, and I've never been a fan of Superior.

Just spoke to a foodie friend of mine, and he told me the best he's found in the area are Coyote Blues and Mi Padre's.

It's la tiendita. Idk if they do fajitas, but I'm sure they do. As far asmMexican goes in BR, you can't beat la tiendita
