I tend to drink gin and Fresca with a lime twist. It’s a refreshing drink, especially in summertime, with just a hint of bitterness from the grapefruit flavor of the Fresca.
I love a Salty Dog with gin. Gin, grapefruit juice, salted rim

Not a big Gin person but wife likes gin and tonic in the summer. Monkey 47 and Jack Rudy mix.

This is really good for the price.

I really like the Gunpowder gin but the staple in my bar is Bombay Sapphire and Bombay Sapphire East. I have a running "argument" with a friend of mine over Bombay Sapphire vs Hendricks, there's really no wrong answer here I just prefer Sapphire.
recently tried a bottle of Kirklands London Dry gin and ended up pouring the remainder out about half way through

Nowhere near the best but a good, affordable gin?
Oodles and oodles of Boodles

My gin & tonics only get Damrak gin.

Haven’t tried Damrak, but I’ll give it a shot

Not common but the Porter’s Orchard gin is great, tonic will overpower it quickly, so if you like Tonic, add to taste

Another vote for Hendricks. Blondie(sorry, no pics) loves my French 75…

A few years back a waiter at Clancey's in NOLA suggested I try Boodles in a martini. It's been my go-to ever since... not sold everywhere but common enough.

quote:for the gin and soda pop drinkers (sprite, 7up, fresca, etc) a tiny bit of additional effort will result in a much better cocktail
low level stuff like gin & Sprite
to your 1.5oz gin
1 part citrus juice (lemon, lime, grapefruit etc)
citrus peel (same)
splash of simple syrup
1 to 1.5 part club soda
just a suggestion…
I like the classic London dry gin so any of the common bottles will do me just fine. In most cases I find gin instead of vodka makes a better drink

Hendricks for the house.
But James May has an incredible line of gins. I have all of them in all proof options.
