Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill is hard to beat....Approx cost $ 300 recent vintage 2016 ish but get the oldest vintage you can find....1990 if u can get it about $ 600 will knock your socks off!

Buy Krug non-vintage. Krug is the greatest champagne house in the world, and their baseline product (the non-vintage) is as good or better than anything else from anyone.

You can spend more on vintage champagnes, including vintage Krug. But that is mostly for connoisseurs indulging a hobby.

I’m going with the Krug clos du mencil. I think I can get up to 5 magnums of that. Then regular bottles of the same.

The cost is embarrassingly high but head count might not be as high as originally thought.
I’m going to get some Dom Perignon too for familiarity and I want to do a taste test on it just to see.

Not big on champagne but I don’t mind anything Veuve Clicqout makes . Especially the Demi sec if you can find it . Brut and rose are good too . My wife uses them for mimosas

If you are going to pour orange juice in it you might as well just use a cheap prosecco or something.

She drinks it straight most the time but yeah she makes mimosas with the brut and Demi sec . She buys it by the case . That’s her though
