Non-fancy restaurant:

Company Burger as Gyno said, they have a location right near the dome.

Cowbell is also excellent

Fancy restaurant:

La Petite Grocery has an excellent burger.

I've been to Justine and I guess I didn't even notice that. Very good to know.

Not really New Orleans, but Desi Vegas Burger in Harahan has awesome burgers.

Port of Call for good simple burgers and awesome drinks.

Its a different burger set up but a lot of the bones are the same. One at Justine comes with a ramekin of au poivre sauce and is fantastic for the burger or to run your fries through.

Have done that, found it a touch too rich, but c'est la vie.

Go to company burger if you’re going to the game. Easy walk.

A burger, potato, and monsoon from Port of Call is a great time for me. Maybe it's not the best in the city anymore because there are so many other options these days. But there's something about sitting at the round table in the back with friends, eating and drinking and then trying to split the bill ourselves because they won't split the bill for you!
