I came across this in my local GA liquor store in a 4 pack and decided to give it a whirl.

This is a wonderful stout.

Why didn't you Louisiana people tell me about this sooner?

Not enough hops for beer nerds to care about. They only do orange juice.

We did. There were a few scattered threads about this beer, or at least what was next coming out of Parish Brewery.

Reve was limited production for a good while years ago. I thought it was just me doing this, but I learned that alot of us who got a 4-pack or two, when we were down to our last bottle, would hang on to it for untold months, because we didn't know when we would be able to buy it again.

Reve is much more available now. Glad you can get it in GA.

That beer has been around for 6-7 years and Beverage Sueprstore has carried it for 3-4 years now.

It’s one of my favorites. I didn’t know it was a secret.

It's my favorite of that genre.

For coffee flavor in a less rich beer, Great Raft has a seasonal out now: Creature of Habit, an American imperial brown ale. Just released for the season in November. I look forward to it every fall/winter.

Parish Reve and Rally Cap's Wendy Peffercorn are my go-to's.

Reve is the best coffee stout around. At least in the widely available and non-barrel aged category.

I agree with Wolf man. I like Parish Reve but I like SA French Press noticeably more. I used to buy Santa Fe Java Stout regularly during the winter months but haven't seen it in N.O. in a couple years.
