I said a bit.
20 mins is a bit in my book.
Dude wanted recs in The Bay and The Pass…. I gave him one in Long Beach, which is a “bit” of a further drive down the road.
Lived on the coast for 7 years, I still visit friends. I understand the distance.
I would’ve gave him Pillars or Siren Social if I thought he wanted a 30-45 min drive.

Agree with recs for Anthonys for more upscale Italian, Mockingbird for breakfast, Thorny Oyster for dinner and brunch.
I also agree with Jourdan River Steamer being worth the trip to Kiln.
We ate lunch at Rickeys on Coleman in Waveland on the way in last time and enjoyed it very much. Then bought dessert at Sugar Pop Bakery.

Bay St. Louis to Long Beach is 20 minutes and about 9 miles apart.

Thorny Oyster or Anthony’s. Grab an Old Fashioned at The Loft before dinner. Maybe Lemoine’s for a drink after dinner.

Tiger Beach is opening any week now. In Henderson point and accessible by water. Owned by the blind tiger folks.

The Mockingbird has a great burger, biscuits and gravy, pulled pork, and grits, and the Thorny Oyster has local seafood, local produce, frog legs, and "crawfish bread."

When I take my dog in the boat with me we park at the Bay St. Louis Harbor and eat at either Lemoine's Landing or The Blind Tiger. Both have outdoor seating.

Lol! I see your point. But no..Im not Renee the baker who owns Sugar Pop, and sadly do not live on the Coast.
Sugarbaker is solely a Designing Women reference. Chose it while watching the show and needing a screen name.

Bacchus in Pass Christian has a good cajun club sandwich and a nice view.

Lots of good recs here already.
Highly recommend Hooks in Pass Christian. My favorite restaurant out there, by a LOT. We also really enjoy The Blind Tiger, its fun and has good bar food. North Beach is nice, we have had several fun dinners there and everyone has enjoyed their meals. Thorny Oyster is great and made me one of the best margaritas I've had, but I've only done drinks there so no help for the food.
Bacchus has disappointed a few times, I would pass on it. Nothing really terrible, just very mediocre food and drinks. Much better options out there.
