First time meeting this woman.
Both of us middle-aged.
She is a smoker.
A quiet place where we can hear each other talk.
Casual or dressy. Does not matter.
No dinner, only drinks.
Warehouse District, Quarter, Lakeview are all options.
Midweek after happy hour.
Can be wine or cocktails.

Thanks in advance.

The Delachaise, nice little wine bar uptown on St Charles. Great patio seating out in front.

The District wouldn't be too bad. Also Cellar Door or Victory Bar might work

Unless she's a dog he'd probably prefer to be able to see who he's talking to

Apologies. She seemed like a nice girl.

I drink too much bourbon around you and the wife has to explain how much the next morning.
