On a Saturday? Seems odd for a bar.

Could not convince my wife to bring the kids here. I think the place has an identity crisis.

Aaaaaaand it looks closed. Been dark for over a week.

5 months. Impressive.

Hopefully the next owner re-opens it as Lakeview Dad's. It's a killer concept.

What would that be? Lots of restaurant turnover in that stretch of Harrison.

I'm still confused as to why he thought this was going to somehow work. That land and build out had to be expensive as all hell. And to just think that a half baked sports restaurant was going to make it.

First thing I thought when I saw the menu and pictures of the inside. Didn't even bother venturing over.

What a shock.

The place was terrible, had a terrible concept, and a weird menu...all after a hugely expensive build.

It had no chance whatsoever.

I think that location is going to struggle for whoever takes over. Limited parking spots in the lot and not many places nearby to park and walk.

When a restaurant's name makes ZERO SENSE that's also usually a dead giveaway as well.

Exactly. Azul...is it a latin restaurant? No.

Its a sports bar...sort of. With fettucini.

I was 2-3 months aggressive.

Worst idea ever. Hope something worth a shite moves in there. Sala would crush at that location but they seem to be doing fine out by the lake.

now would be a good time to bump Mary Ann Fitzmorris's advertisement for Azul

LINK

I wonder how many "famous" patrons ever made it there

Me too. Plenty of options along Harrison now. What is that area lacking?

Man I would kill for a good izakaya
BBQ

I'm really pleasantly surprised by Junior's. Those guys seem to know what they are doing. Also think JB's Fuel Dock is a great addition to the greater Lakeview hood - simple food but great atmosphere. And the Sala folks are absolutely great restaurateurs to make that location work.

really good vietnamese would be nice. Chez Pierre opening fills that gap to a certain degree.

A legit wine store and wine bar like The Independent would be nice.
