Tell me about your favorite Austin eats....I know, Covid means sit-down dining is limited, but I'll be there soon and willing to do takeout. Prefer funky to fancy, bonus points for good bread/bakery recs. TIA, y'all.

Really like Licha's Cantina for mexican and Chili Parlor bar for decent bar food in a cool, dive bar.....Guy Clark wrote a song about it so that kicks it up a notch. East Side King but their Liberty location is shut which is the one I like. They have several other locations. Conan's Pizza since it may shut for good soon. Whip In, although I go there more for the beer than the food. And its under new management and has lost some of its funkiness. Russian House, its kitschy but funky.

Thanks for the Veracruz rec: just looked at the online menu and it has cochinita pibil, one of my all time favorite pork preparations. So looking forward to that.
