We usually just steam it, but that is getting boring. What are some better ways to prepare asparagus?
I have access air fryer, grill/smoker and of course oven and stove top.

Thanks for the suggestions

All Great ideas again, THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HELP!!

I love them cooked until crispy. I brush with a little olive oil and season with S/P or some blend. I don’t use an air fryer, but I’m sure it would be great for this. The grill and oven crisp them up well. Be careful though...the olive oil might make your pee smell funny.

Toss in olive oil, salt, pepper and cayenne. Roast until tender but still firm.

Simple yet delicious.

I love them grilled. Cut off the woody ends, hit with a bit of olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder or your favorite blend of seasonings and grill till soft with nice grill marks on them.

Oh, and do that with okra too when/if you get some. You'll thank me later.

Oven roasted and grilled are both delicious. Sometimes, I sprinkle them with a little lemon juice. Add some freshly grated parmesan just before they're done. You can also top them with some sliced green onions.

I also like them stir fried in a skillet. I cut them in about two inch pieces and put a little butter and olive oil in the skillet.

Wrap a few in some prosciutto and roast or grill.

Always good. We would toss them in Olive oil, season with salt and fresh cracked pepper, and either sauté them in a pan or a quick roast in the oven. Take them out and wrap 2-3 together in prosciutto, and then take a piece of bread and wrap around that and put them in the oven until the bread got a little toasted. Like a little asparagus/prosciutto rollup.

Bobby Flay recipe from year back;

Cut inch and a half off ends
Place in a gallon zip lock bag
Coat with olive oil
Coat with balsamic and red wine vinegar
Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper
Seal and let marinate for a few hours

Grill over medium heat until al dente, turn every couple of minutes while cooking
Remove from grill and spritz with red wine vinegar, kosher salt, and fresh ground black pepper again

It has been a hit for well over 15 years since I have been using it

My go to ... wrap 3-4 asparagus in bacon. Place on parchement paper covered baking pan. Oven on 350 until done. Then top with shaved parmigiana cheese

Toss in olive oil, salt, cracked pepper, and a little minced garlic or garlic powder. Spread them on a baking sheet and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese, 425 degree oven and check after 8-10 minutes for your preferred doneness
