Several of my favorites never reopened after their last big hurricane. I think Nolan's reopened. If you like beef, their steak is the best in the area. I have never had their seafood, but have heard it is pretty good.

That Oyster House (forget the whole name) is decent...hardly nice, though.

Since it is a beach town, most of the best food is at the casual places.

and i'm still not 100% sure this is going down...

I would second Mango's. Also at night the Zeke's Landing Restaurant upstairs is a nice place to eat.

Gug...
i ate Ginny Lane's both of my last 2 trips....in the Wharf...lots of shops, etc to see and do....
both times i ate a steak...had some good red vino..... was very solid both times.
considering the food sucks down there...this is a good recommendation

think we're gonna go to Voyager's...thanks for the advice...

Well, just as an update, I tried to get reservations at Voyagers but they were all booked. Soooo, i went with the far less formal Ginny Lane. They have a 4 course meal for $40 bucks a person. It should be pretty good. I'll write my review whenever I get back.
thanks for all the suggestions!
