Several of my favorites never reopened after their last big hurricane. I think Nolan's reopened. If you like beef, their steak is the best in the area. I have never had their seafood, but have heard it is pretty good.

That Oyster House (forget the whole name) is decent...hardly nice, though.

Since it is a beach town, most of the best food is at the casual places.

I would second Mango's. Also at night the Zeke's Landing Restaurant upstairs is a nice place to eat.

Gug...

i ate Ginny Lane's both of my last 2 trips....in the Wharf...lots of shops, etc to see and do....

both times i ate a steak...had some good red vino..... was very solid both times.

considering the food sucks down there...this is a good recommendation

we're definitely going now and are looking at villagio's italian grille...perhaps something else, i'm really not sure...

sunset cork room in G.S. or voyagers on the beach,beautiful white table cloth resturant with excellent food in the perdido beach resort.

Well, just as an update, I tried to get reservations at Voyagers but they were all booked. Soooo, i went with the far less formal Ginny Lane. They have a 4 course meal for $40 bucks a person. It should be pretty good. I'll write my review whenever I get back.
