Are there any good Italian restaurants in Baton Rouge now?

Been a while since I've been hip to what's going on here. Wanted to take my mom out for lunch tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Diguilios
Ninos
Ginos

All good options.

Nino's isn't open for lunch.

I prefer Diguilio's over Gino's but my wife is the opposite so we rotate. Both are open for lunch.

I guess next time I should read the whole thread. I only saw the "good Italian restaurants" part, not the "for lunch" part. In that case, I would go for DiGuilio's.

It’s not hip at all, but I freakin love La Contea. The singer on the weekends is so fun.

DiGiulios will always be my go-to though. We lunch there every week or so.

I always forget about this place when Italian is being discussed, but I'm definitely a fan.

Google is wrong. They are open for lunch M-F. Order the beer tips medium rare.
