Trying to save a trip back home for select. Called around and most places haven’t a clue what I’m asking? Looking for a few sacks of select for a berl.

And yes I used the crawfish app

Friend owns Boiling Bros and when we went the other day, he checked to be sure they gave us a good sack so I assume that means they sell select.

Capital City Crawfish gave us a range of like 4 sizes a couple weeks ago.

Fat Boys consistently has the biggest selects in town.

That's because most places don't do it. You get what's in the sack and it's usually a mix. If they are all smalls, people won't go back to buy from them.

Grading crawfish is yet another way that the Lafayette / Houston crowd has taken a simple thing and screwed it up.

I never even heard of the term until I moved to Houston. When I moved back to NOLA, I know of two places, total, that grade crawfish. Out of hundreds.

Phil and Greg are doing a great job with Boiling Bros. It's difficult-ish to get to but the crawfish are great and they are big. They sell live as well.
